It’s that day created to honor the Earth. And of course since the Earth is the creation of our Spiritual Father, it is something that we should always remember to be careful with.
1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.
The world and all its people belong to him.
2 For he laid the earth’s foundation on the seas
and built it on the ocean depths. Psalm 24:1-2 (NLT)
Besides that, it’s sort of our only home, and a glorious home it is:
1 The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftsmanship.
2 Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
3 They speak without a sound or word;
their voice is never heard.
4 Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
and their words to all the world. Psalm 19 (NLT)
Take some time to look at your life today and the ways you honor, respect and care for the creation that has been given to you.
