There are days when the best words are those spoken by the Creator of the world. Words like these:
“I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” [jeremiah 31:25 niv]
It’s hump day, may those words refresh you today!

Sometimes the real simple things make us see how blessed we are. Over the last few days the gurgling sound of a toilet has brought me great joy. Like Cinderella say, you Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone)!
I have posted many times about how blessed we are to have simple things like clean water. Being able to use that water is also a blessing we take for granted. Take a moment and think about the other blessings simple or complicated that surrounds you every day. Use these as a catalyst to bless others.
25 The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped. Proverbs 11:25
Well it’s Monday again, the start of a great week Here’s a little thought for you that I saw on Twitter last week from a preacher in Texas. It is good advice for today.
Live today in such a way that makes no sense to those who are not citizens of a higher kingdom.
Let’s do it. Let’s live today in a way that really shows where our allegiance lies.
Sorry all! I have had two really crazy morning and have missed my posting deadline both days.
But I know you can’t survive without this little bit of encouragement each day.
Make what’s left of today memorable and be good!
Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust. (Proverbs 4:23-27 MSG)
