Planting

WestVirginia Wow, it’s so nice to back at the keyboard where most of the almost 1000 posts have been posted from.  For the last six weeks, I have been posting from an iPhone, an  iPad (mini of course),  other computers, and by voice.  It’s amazing how familiarity helps the brain think and process.

Anyway it’s Colors Day.  Make sure you fly the colors of your choice, and I hope you know what to choose!

And as we go into September this weekend, here’s a great little saying I ran across this week.

“What you plant in September, you reap in June.”

Be intentional each day in the upcoming month.  And prepare yourself to reap the rewards of your work!

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Galatians 6:7-8 ESV /

Contentment

Lately, each day I remind myself about the goodness of God and how peaceful e it is to find contentment in whatever circumstance you are in. I hope you can find peace in thinking about that as well. Remember, no matter how bad you say is, it’s still awesome because the Christ died for your sins!

But godliness with contentment is great gain. (1 Timothy 6:6 NIV)

Prudent

What you do today will eventually be your past and end up effecting your future. Make your future self happy with your choices.

The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception. (Proverbs 14:8 NIV)

Concerned?

Don’t act out of selfish ambition or be conceited. Instead, humbly think of others as being better than yourselves. Don’t be concerned only about your own interests, but also be concerned about the interests of others. (Philippians 2:3, 4 GWT)
