Let’s Be Irrational

Today is ‘e’-day, February 7 or 2/7 or 2.718281828459…

That’s right today on the seventh of February some mathematicians decided to honor the irrational number ‘e’, which if you want to know, is explained quite well here.  For those not so daring, just suffice it to say it’s a number that is the backbone for lots of logarithms and usually has its own key on advanced calculators.  So that alone tells you it’s right up there with zero thru nine!

So today, in honor of this dubious number, let’s be irrational. Maybe like this

Oh February!

Well, Football is all but over until August ( minus LOI day on Wednesday and the teaser of spring practice) and the groundhog says that spring is on its way.

In the mean time, we are stuck in the doldrums of February

Redouble

Oh, it’s February and spring is right around the corner!  1/12 of 2013 is beyond us now, and it is a good time to reconsider those changes you thought about only 31 days ago.  Or to re-emphasize your ‘one word’ for the year as you head into the short month.

So get out there today, and live the day, taking advantage of the joys of a winter Friday, and remember you have great power.
