Sitting at dinner last night and this is I what i saw in front of me

I can’t seem to get away from thoughts about trusting. And I am really glad about that, because with these little changes in my life those thoughts really help get me through the day.

But fortunately my trust is not in Toasted whole grain oat cereal, but in the Creator of this world. Talk about a trusted advisor!

Be strong an lean on your tried and true!

For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” (1 Peter 2:6 NIV)

Everyday I think about the phrase that I heard a few months ago- “Trust God with your lunch”. I keep coming back to this idea, this concept of giving God what you think you possess. Each day I’m reminded of that young man with his bread and fish and how hard it must’ve been to turn that over to Jesus. We always talk about the miracle and how he turned that lunch into food for many. That is pretty awesome. However, remember that boy didn’t need lunch. His momma has taken care of him. He had you had it right in front of him, yet he still trusted God.
Today trust Him with the small things. Trust God with the things you think you have. Trust him in place you don’t have, and watch the wonderful things that happen. Have an awesome day and make it great!

On my way into the office this morning I went under a bridge with the name “New Hope” stuck to the side of it.  I thought this was very unusual and funny and of course the first thing I thought about was Star Wars, A New Hope.
But as I drove down the interstate towards my exit, I thought about why it was named that way.  More than likely the road is named after the one guy that really gives us hope,  the son of the creator, Jesus.  As you go about the day today, remember that you have a hope of that gives you light  and that allows you to interact with others a lot of confidence.  Confidence in who you are and what you have been given!

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Hey it’s Monday the start to another great week. Here’s a little bit of information that you know but doesn’t hurt to be reminded of to start off the week. Be aware of how you think about others and how you interact with those that you do not know.

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13:1, 2 NIV)
