This is the day of the year that ranks the lowest of my list of days – the Monday after the ridiculous lets steal an hour of sleep from people who don’t get enough sleep night. Argh!!! Sort of reminds me of this, from this day 2 years ago!
I just hope I can say today is ‘it was all I hoped it would be!’
Speaking of hope, let’s not forget this as we go out on this tired and lonesome Monday
5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:5
and
3 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Romans 8:23-25
And remember, that unless, the sky opens and the trumpets sound today, our hope will still be with us on Monday night. As ferocious as this day of the week is, it can’t tear that away from us!
