Daily Buffet

Sometimes the best thoughts are the simplest ones, like the ones found in this Nursery Rhyme:

I’m glad the sky is painted blue,
And earth is painted green,
With such a lot of nice fresh air
All sandwiched in between

Ahh, so simple,  so nice. Enjoy the day that has been provided today and be glad!

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;

Well, the Powerball has taken off to incredible heights.  Everybody is looking for a chance to have ‘everything’ they need.

I think it was fitting that I saw this post on Instagram last night.

When you play, and win, do great things.  If you don’t play or you don’t win, do great things with what you have.  It will all come back to you in some form or fashion.

A long time ago Moses told the Isrealites something that I often think today’s followers of the Christ might should consider with more zeal. During the departure from Egypt he said this 

 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.””

Wow!  I mean how often do we feel it’s our obligation to fight for ourselves.   This is a tough one to determine how to put into practice.  Especially those raised in pull youself up bootstraps America.  

This is something all of use should spend some time considering on this lovely Friday!
