Faithful

Here is a fascinating thing to consider today.

Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. (2 Timothy 2:11-13 NIV)

He,s faithful even we are faithless! That’s amazing! It is so comforting to know that the Creator of the world is faithful to us, despite our continuous efforts to act like we really don’t need him!

I hope this brings you peace today and that you learn from this fascinating characteristic of God. Maybe this is something that you can apply to your own relationships ?

Add Salt

A great friend of mine sent me this picture yesterday.

With these words

I saw this license plate today at Trader Joe’s and it reminded me of one of your blogs from a year ago (or more)…

I love Trader Joes, and Passats(made in Chattanooga) and Maine, and salt!

Thanks Lisa. It reminds me of this Post as well. Every time I see a Salt Life sticker I think about it. Amazingly that was over three years ago.

Well, thats enough time passing that I am sure that we are all due to be reminded that we should be the salt of world.

Add Salt wherever you go!

Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth.

Make a difference

How about this thought to spur you to action today.

Don’t wait for the next forty years to ask, “Did I make a difference?” In fact, don’t even wait until tomorrow. Every night, starting now

Wisdom

Monday is here again.  Here’s a little something to motivate you as you start working this week.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
11 For through wisdom your days will be many,
and years will be added to your life.
12 If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you;
if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer. Proverbs 9

Find ways to increase your wisdom and knowledge of him today!

Serving

Wow. This short week has been very long for me, and I have had to sacrifice my writing time for other activities. I apologize for that. I should be back in a better schedule next week. In the meantime, here a pretty profound verse that I rediscovered last night.

Ephesians 6:7 Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people,

It speaks to me in my position at the moment, and I hope that you can apply this to your life as well. Do everything you do as if you are doing it at the request of the creator of the world. That will change your attitude and maybe even change your output.

Go and serve ,
