I often wonder why those that follow the Christ are known for their judgement, for their affinity for snakes , or for their ‘beliefs’, when then the Christ said we would be known by our love.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35 NIV)
Why are we not fighting to put this up in public buildings instead of the Ten Commandments?
I think I want to stick with the one who died and rose himself from death. Make love what you are known for today.
Sorry I have not posted the last few days. My mornings have been quite busy with some other activities.
Anyway, I have been thinking about this particular verse often over the last few weeks, and felt it was something good to share today

Don’t be timid today. Use the power you have been given to make it happen.
Sometimes I open up Bible Gateway and see something that just speaks to me. I thought there verse of the day today is a great mindset to have. Look through your troubles and find delight in the direction of the creator today!

Well, it’s cold everywhere this morning, so much so that even my phone was complaining about the temperature.
And wow, look at the date 11-13-13. Another fascinating pattern. Since we are talking about patterns, how about this little bit about not adhering to patterns?
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Break the patterns today, and since the weather has turned, I am sure there are lots of chances to warm up others by doing good.
