I have a case of World Cup Fever going on right now. So I wondered, if the game of soccer was mentioned in the great text. So, I went to The Google to see what it said and found some interesting stuff.

But in the end, I still come back to one of my favorite verses when the mix of athletics and spirituality are combined.
25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things.
